An
important process when fabricating custom tube for the markets we serve. ASC Industries, Inc. has presses available to pierce holes
in ½” .049 tubing to slotting 6” .065 tubing as well as a variety of sizes in
between. Please see the attached

| Punch Type | Description |
| Piercing | Simply punching a through hole into tubing. |
| Notching | For locating of tube. |
| Slotting | Allows tube to compress to another tube when a clamp is applied. |
| Embossing | Raises tube to allow a flat surface when a fastener is required to attach tubing and fittings together. |
| Coping | Puts a saddle end on tubing so two tubes can be welded together to achieve a straight welded joint. |
| Crimping | Allows to become one assembly Flattens tube so the tube can be mounted to a flat surface. |
| Flattening | Flattens tube so the tube can be mounted to a flat surface. |
